About the Museum
This Italian contemporary art foundation was founded in 1995 by the collector Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, under the artistic directorship of Francesco Bonami. The gallery began at the Palazzo Re Rebaudengo in Guarene in 1997, before relocating to Turin. The current space, designed by Claudio Silvestrin, contains a gallery of more than 1,500 square metres, plus a bookshop, auditorium, education department and restaurant. In addition to its main exhibitions, the foundation hosts an annual young curators residency programme, prizes, talks and films, as well as music, theatre and dance performances.
