Bangkok Folk Museum

The Bangkok Folk Museum, also known as the Bangkokian Museum, is a historic house museum. Originally built in 1937, the museum preserves the classical Thai architecture of two homes owned by the Suravadee family and explores the lifestyle of Bangkokians during World War II and its aftermath. The two buildings display many of the possessions owned by the original family members, including historic Thai porcelain jars, a cigar collection, and a Bangkokian kitchen from the war period. Visitors can also explore the gardens surrounding the two homes.
