About the Museum

Founded in 2015, the Aïshti Foundation an art gallery within a 35,000 square-meter complex that includes fashion boutiques, a bookshop, restaurants, cafes, a spa and a rooftop bar with striking views of Beirut framed by the sea. The foundation makes the Tony and Elham Salamé collection of contemporary art accessible to the widest possible audience by presenting exhibitions and operating a lending program to art museums and galleries worldwide.
The foundation aims to enrich, provoke, motivate, and raise appreciate of art of our time by creating dynamic exhibitions and diverse public programs. The collection holds over 2,000 works of postwar and contemporary art, featuring artists like Lucio Fontana, Sol LeWitt, John Baldessari, Gerhard Richter, Cindy Sherman, Danh Vo, among many others.
