T WO x TWO for AIDS and Art is an annual contemporary art auction held at The Rachofsky House in Dallas, benefiting two organizations—the Dallas Museum of Art and amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. Thanks to the phenomenal support of the dealer and artist community, corporate sponsors, and Dallas patrons, TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art’s annual benefit gala dinner and art auction has raised over $113 million in its 23-year history in support of amfAR’s AIDS research initiatives and the DMA’s contemporary art acquisition programs and exhibitions. Sotheby’s has been a proud supporter of TWO x TWO since its inception.
Artwork in the TWO x TWO auction is donated by contemporary artists and galleries from around the world. This year 125 artworks will be in the sale. The TWO x TWO 2023 Honoree Artist, María Berrío, will receive the amfAR Award of Excellence for Artistic Contributions to the Fight Against AIDS.
There are three ways to bid at TWO x TWO: OWNitNOW, Silent Auction, and Live Auction. The OWNitNOW auction begins October 10, 2023. The remaining lots will be offered in the Silent Auction and Live Auction portions of the TWO x TWO gala on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
