A diamond tiara, England, circa 1900

Styled as a silver and gold bandeau formed of twelve graduated stylised foliate motifs meeting at a central old European-cut diamond surmounted by an inverted pear-shaped diamond, each leaf group is designed as three curved and pointed sections angled towards the centre and set throughout with old mine- and old European-cut stones, a single old European-cut diamond between each leaf grouping in fine rubover setting with millegrain edging, with a velvet covered band, in a stamped fitted case, inner length approximately 170mm.
