The Buckley dial on this two-tone Datejust is nearly flawless. The Buckley dial refers to the Roman numerals used for the hour markers.
The watch is in very good overall condition with a strong case.
The numbers are visible between the lugs.
The dial and hands are in excellent condition with the lume having aged to a warm yellow color.
The plot at 8 o'clock is slightly deteriorated and there is what appears to be a small hole in the lume of the hour hand that is hardly noticeable.
The bracelet and clasp are in good condition with minimal signs of wear, light stretch, and have been lightly polished.
The movement is running at time of cataloguing; however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. The watch was serviced by Rolex in 2019.
The bracelet circumference is approximately 155mm
