Description
The Rolex Date reference 1505 showcases vintage elegance at its best. The watch is features a two-tone 34mm Oyster case with a yellow gold engine-turned bezel. The matte black dial is very attractive on the watch and is in great condition.
Condition Report
Case: The case is in overall good condition with surface wear and scuffing throughout commensurate with age. Previous light polish. The case back with more visible wear. The bezel with light patina.
Dial: The dial is in overall very good condition. The luminous plots remain intact. The hands have dirtied to black color.
Movement: The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
