Description
H. Moser & Cie launched three new models that feature dials made from Vantablack - this present model is the Venturer XL. Vantablack is a material made from carbon nanotubes that absorbs up to 99.96 percent of visible light and is considered the blackest black ever produced by artificial means. It's been used in watches before (and, controversially, was licensed to use in artworks exclusively by artist Anish Kapoor), and it has a number of potential applications in the sciences and in military tech as well. With no branding or even indices, it makes a very special looking watch. In addition, the present piece has custom made silvered hands by H. Moser & Cie (typically it is sold with black hands), making it piece unique.
