Since its introduction in 1963, the model has undergone numerous evolutions, featuring various calibres, dials, and cases. The present reference is an icon. It belongs to the first generation of Daytonas, those fitted with the manually wind Valjoux movement. Produced between 1971 and 1987 alongside its sister reference, the 6263, the key difference lies in the bezel: while the 6263 features a black Bakelite bezel, the reference 6265 offered here is fitted with a stainless-steel bezel. A true collector’s piece, the Daytona 6265 with its steel bezel stands as a refined homage to the very first Daytona, reference 6239.
