Description

Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) was a ‘sneakerhead’ long before the term became mainstream. He started collecting sneakers in 1990 and amassed close to 900 pairs before his passing in 2009. His sister auctioned off each pair, one at a time. He was known for both his DJ skills and premier sneaker collection

This sneaker is 1 of 4 colorways from the ‘Colors By’ collection. These styles were the very first Dunk SBs to ever be released and launched the SB line. Initially released in 1985 for basketball, Dunks popularity with skateboarders led to the creation of the SB line in 2002, featuring additional padding and Zoom air soles.

Nike tapped Pro skater Danny ‘Supa’ Supasirirat to design. To represent his hometown of New York City, the colorway is an homage to the New York Mets.

  • An original Dunk SB ‘Supa’ from 2002, worn by DJ AM.
  • NY Mets inspired colorway with ‘Safety Orange’ overlays and ‘Hyperblue’ Swoosh, laces, heel tab and outsole.
  • DJ AM memorial tag attached to left shoe.
  • DJ AM Collection Certificate of Authenticity is included.
  • Style number: 304292
  • Color Code: 841
  • This item is final sale and not eligible for return.
