Award winning, stop-motion studio, Laika, teamed up with Nike to create the Nike Air Max 1 Missing Link 'Susan'. The shoe celebrates the 2019 stop-motion comedy, Missing Link. Mr. Link, the main character in the film, was the inspiration for the shoes style. In the beginning of the film Mr. Link uses the alias "Susan" in an attempt to hide his true identity. The sail, alabaster and cosmic bonsa color way was inspired by the films setting in the Pacific Northwest. Stripe and plaid accents adorn the collar and toe cap. The midsole is wrapped in a chocolate brown leather with an exposed Air unit. This shoe was released with the movie in April, 2019.
