The Nike “Air Jordan 1” is one of the most iconic designs in the history of both streetwear and basketball, and is a key part of the origin of the Air Jordan brand for Nike. Designed by Peter Moore, the sneaker has remained an instant classic since its commercial release in 1985. 

This sneaker is one of 23 pairs released in 2015 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Jordan Brand. Using premium leather for the all-black base, the design features iconic symbols inspired by the city of Paris. The pairs were exclusively dropped at the Palais 23 event held in Paris at the Palais de Tokyo, making it an important release for the brand.
