Description

One of only twenty-four pairs designed by the artist Geoff McFetridge for “Art in the Streets”, a 2011 exhibit held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. These sneakers were auctioned off to benefit the MOCA Foundation. Originally released in 1985 for basketball, Dunks popularity with skateboarders led to the launch of the SB line in 2002, featuring additional padding and Zoom Air sole. The style has become one of the most iconic sneaker styles of all time and a blank canvas for design inspiration.

  • Crafted from an original Geoff McFetridge ink drawing on paper.
  • Black ink on tan treated-paper upper and swoosh.
  • Shoebox features exterior drawings.
  • Includes a small paper card artwork mirroring the larger artwork used to create the sneakers.
  • Signed GM 2011 at back heel of right shoe.
  • This piece is final sale and not eligible for return.
