These dual signed turf cleats were worn by the legendary Kirby Puckett while playing for the Minnesota Twins. Made in 1989, the shoes are for turf instead of cleated because the Twins’ home stadium at the time was the Hubert H. Humphry Metrodome, which had an AstroTurf field surface.

Puckett was a fan-favorite in Minnesota, known for his outgoing personality, enthusiasm and ever-present smile. He retired in 1995 with the highest career batting average (.318) for a right-handed batter since Joe Dimaggio. The Hall of Famer was also a 6 time Gold Glove Award winner, named to 10 consecutive All-Star Teams and MVP of the All-Star Game in 1993.
