American Japonesque sterling silver centerpiece bowl made by Tiffany & Co., New York.

  • Hemispheric form with wavy rim.
  • Exterior with applied and acid-etched ornament heightened with gilding and engraving.
  • Stylistically integrated acid-etched interlaced script monogram.
  • Gilt-washed and engraved interior.
  • Further embellished with spot-hammered ground.
  • Raised on a round and stepped foot.
  • Fully marked, including pattern number 5026 (first produced in 1877), director's letter M (1873-1891) and number 2092.
