Description
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date is commonly referred to as the President’s watch by collectors for frequently being publicized on the wrist of many Heads of State and “illustrious people'' from the 20th and 21st centuries. Like many models from Rolex’s collection, the Day-Date also shares a very long history. The first Day-Date model was launched in 1956 where it was the first automatic watch to feature both the day and date on the dial, and through its continuous cycle of upgrades, the Day-Date soon became a watch that not only featured many materials but the calendar is also now available in 26 languages.
