Description
Rolex produced reference 6240 for a limited time between 1965 and 1969, and regarded it as an experimental watch. It was the first water resistant Cosmograph ‘Daytona’, differing from the references 6239 and 6241 by having screw-down chronograph pushers.
Pleasingly, this watch retains its highly attractive ‘Paul Newman’ dial, characterized by its square markers in the chronograph scale and subsidiary dials.
