North Indian Agra hand-knotted wool gallery carpet.
- Crimson field with an overall Safavid-style design of split arabesque leaves, cloud bands and palmettes.
- Dark indigo border of palmettes issuing feathery leaves and flowering vines.

GoodThe pile is good in general throughout, a few areas where it is low and the foundation is visible.
Visible knot-heads/white spots throughout the carpet.
Overall nice size and bright colors.
Original fringe with the kilim finish.
A few areas with some missing fringe, but not serious.
Original salvage, with a few missing areas. Minor fold wears scattered throughout.
One side of the carpet is secured with binding tape and cloth tape.
Slightly dry foundation in some areas.
