Description
The Méga Tapisserie dial together with the oversized Arabic hour markers creates a unique and distinctive look for this Audemars Piguet Royal offshore Self Winding Chronograph. Cased in stainless steel with matching bezels, it features the Calibre 4404, the first movement for the Offshore that was made in-house. By default, it comes with a texturised blue rubber strap for a bold look, however, an additional black leather strap is included for a more muted look. Despite its size, it wears incredibly well and is suited for any sort of occasion.
Condition Report
Very GoodThe watch is in very good overall condition, exhibiting minor surface wear consistent with normal use. The bezel shows a few small dings, most notably at the 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock positions. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
