Description
Georges-Édouard Piaget felt a passion for watchmaking from a young age; in 1874 at only 19, he set up his first workshop on the family farm. Here, he dedicated himself to creating high-precision movements and components. In 1959, the first "Salon Piaget" was launched in Geneva. It was created to be a welcoming place where Piaget could share its creativity and savoir-faire by showing the first of Piaget's luxury jewelry creations alongside refined timepieces. Geneva also became home to Piaget's ateliers that specialized in goldsmithing and gem-setting, meaning the Maison could master every aspect of the production of fine pieces. This vintage Dancer reference 81317K81 is a yellow and white gold quartz wristwatch, circa 1990, 18k yellow and white gold bracelet and case in diameter 20x20 mm. Quartz movement, mother of pearl dial with 4 diamond indexes. This watch comes with box only.

FairThe watch is in overall fair condition. Case is in overall fair condition with moderate surface wear. Bracelet has signs of stretch, scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Buckle has signs of scratches. Crystal has signs of scratches and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Case back has heavy signs of scratches. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time. The battery may need replacing at the buyer's discretion.
