Description
The reference 5496 was introduced to the market in 2011and replaced the celebrated reference 5050, which was the first perpetual calendar with retrograde date made in a series. The reference is extremely recgonisable with its complicated dial that displays the day, date, month, leap year and moon phases. Further enhanced with centre seconds, this reference is extremely complicated and offers a very impressive presence on the wrist .

NewThe watch is double sealed. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
