The Ōtsuka Lōtec No. 5 Kai is a retro‑futuristic wristwatch by Tokyo‑based independent watchmaker Jiro Katayama. Building on the original No. 5 released in 2012, the Kai refines the design by replacing its regulator display with a sophisticated satellite “wandering hours” complication. This evolution delivers a striking reinterpretation of time while staying true to Katayama’s avant‑garde design philosophy.
