Description
This Edward Piguet Tourbillon Reference 25956PT.OO.D002CR.01 features a curved, rectangular case crafted from platinum and an elegant, silvered guilloché dial. The superbly hand-finished movement has a notable power reserve of 70 hours and a one-minute tourbillon carriage to increase timekeeping accuracy by eliminating positional differences on its oscillator caused by gravity. The present example is a rare timepiece for any collector fond of classic tourbillons.
Condition Report
The watch is in very good condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Please be advised that bands made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) cannot be shipped outside the country of sale. We reserve the right to remove these bands prior to shipping.
