The Ladymatic was launched in 1955 as the first ladies' automatic wristwatch housing the world's smallest mass-produced automatic movement. Today, the Ladymatic remains a self-winding watch created especially for women.
The watch is in overall good condition. Case has scratches and nicks throughout. Dial is in overall good condition. The strap has creasing and discoloration at the interior. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Please be advised that bands made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) cannot be shipped outside the country of sale. We reserve the right to remove these bands prior to shipping.
