Description
The AirKing reference 5500 is one of the most iconic models that Rolex has produced. Although being in Rolex’s production for 37 years, minimal changes were made to this collection of watches. This eventually led to the reference 5500 being one of the more classic watches of Rolex.
Condition Report
FairThe watch is in overall fair condition with moderate wear throughout commensurate with age. Case is in fair condition with moderate surface wear. Bracelet has signs of stretch and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Dial is in overall good condition. Crystal shows minor signs of nicks. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
