Hand-carved in wax, cast with lost wax technique and hand-fabricated by Melanie Eddy. Polished and finished by hand with both high-polish finish and Melanie's signature satin finish. In the early spring of 2020, Melanie relocated to a small village in the Hertfordshire countryside. Surrounded by wheat fields, she has now witnessed a few harvest seasons. Watching the cycle of an important grain is life-affirming, seeing the new plants emerge as green shoots from the soil, the fields of golden wheat in the late summer and the flecks of golden straw and chaff that sprinkle every throughfare during harvest time. The Autumn Equinox pendant is reminiscent of a sheaf of wheat — a talisman of abundance. Whilst harvest comes but once a year, we can carry the spirit of harvest with us all the time.
