Description

Art Deco travel advertising poster for Brides-les-Bains, the Savoie region of southeastern France, 1929.

  • Léon Benigni (French, 1892–1948).
  • Created by the French railway, P.L.M. for Paris, Lyon, Mediterranee, three train hubs which were the main departure points for rail travel in France during the 1920s and into the 1930s.
  • Poster touting Brides-les-Bains being the station of the elegant woman.
