Rare and early concert poster for The Who performance at the Blue Moon Club, Cheltenham, England, August 1965.

Pete Overend Watts of Mott The Hoople performed with warm-up act The Silence at this concert. The Silence drummer recalls Dale Griffin played Keith Moon’s drums, guitarist Robert Fisher blew up the Who’s amp and Pete Overend Watts sat on the neck of Pete Townshend’s guitar and broke it.
