Favor, manufacturer of bicycles and motorcycles, was founded in 1898 in Clemont-Ferrand, a French city in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region where the Michelin tire company is also based. Favor motorcycles were regularly ridden to victory in French national championships throughout the 1950s. The company closed in 1977.
