Description
A French Maurin Quina alcohol advertising poster from 1906, by Leonetto Cappiello.
The devilish pixie was designed in 1906 by Leonetto Cappiello - often called 'the father of modern advertising' because of his innovation in poster design. Perhaps Cappiello's most famous poster with the infamous green fairy imagery commonly associated with absinthe. Maurin Quina went out of production the year this poster was printed and only recently became re-introduced on the French market.
