An exhibition poster created for the occasion of Keith Haring Drawings, October 9 to November 13, 1982 at Tony Shafrazi Gallery, New York.

  • Keith Haring (American, 1958-1990).
  • The classic white on black, chalk-like design was born out of Haring's famous subway drawings of the same period.
  • Offset lithograph.


Keith Haring was an artist and social activist who became a star of the 1980s New York art scene. Along with Jean-Michel Basquiat, Haring was a central figure in Warhol's creative and social circle. Through his public murals, subway drawings, as well as his prints and paintings, Haring created a range of images that have become internationally recognized across a plethora of genres and industries.
