On January 2, 2023, Mitchell scored 71 points against the Chicago Bulls, becoming just the 7th player in NBA history to score 70 or more in a single game. In addition to this record, it was the most points scored by an NBA player since the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant scored 81 against Toronto in 2006. 

At the time of cataloging, Mitchell has career averages of 24.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. He is a five-time NBA All-Star, a 2022-2023 All-NBA Second Team selection and named to the 2017-18 All-Rookie 1st Team. Mitchell was also the 2018 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion.
