A limited edition print from Apollo 11's moon landing, signed by astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

  • Buzz Aldrin (American, b. 1930).
  • Part of a limited edition of 475.
  • Signed, titled, dated, and numbered on label on verso.
  • Dye-sublimation print on ChromaLuxe aluminum panel.

110 hours, 42 minutes, and 14 seconds into the mission: Buzz Aldrin inspects the Eagle. The Ascent Stage of the LM has yet to perform its most daunting task on the lunar surface. With the Descent Stage acting as a launch pad, it must get the two moonwalkers back to lunar orbit where they will join up with Michael Collins in the Command Module for the ride home.

Buzz Aldrin made history as one of the first men to walk on the Moon. A graduate of West Point, he earned his Sc.D. in Astronautics from MIT before joining NASA, and the Gemini XII and Apollo 11 missions. He is the founder of the Human Spaceflight Institute, a nonprofit committed to advancing human spaceflight beyond low Earth orbit.
