Jiminy Cricket, best known as Pinocchio's conscience, continued on into the cast of The Mickey Mouse Club where he piqued the curiosity of Mouseketeers with his encyclopedic knowledge and musical "I'm No Fool" and "Human Animal" segments! Even after the show's end, the educational shorts continued to be viewed in school classrooms and on The Wonderful World of Color. This wonderful cel is from the educational "I'm No Fool" shorts in which he steered the consciences of viewers down the straight and narrow path to do things "the right way" by "playing it safe."
