Description
An Apple Records promotional Lucite box.
- The box has a black bottom and a clear plastic lid with a silver Apple logo on it.
- It was produced in limited quantities in the late 1960s and early 1970s to friends and staff of the company.
- Launched by The Beatles in 1968, Apple Records served as the new outlet for The Beatles’ own recordings as well as the music of a wide-ranging roster of artists, all brought to the label personally by the band.
