Black and white photograph of Audrey Hepburn by Philippe Halsman, May 1955.

  • Philippe Halsman (Latvian-American, 1906–1979).
  • Photograph was taken at Hepburn's farm at La Vigna, outside Rome, for a Life Magazine cover story, July 18, 1955, titled "On An Italian Farm with Audrey Hepburn."

  • Signed in graphite verso.
  • Silver gelatin semi-gloss double-weight photograph framed in obeche wood with UV plexiglass.
  • Rare vintage photograph, few printed in 1955.
