Description
Uncut printers proof for a proposed Queen Radio Ga Ga 1980s Christmas card.
- Signed on the front by Freddie Mercury in blue pen.
- The artwork on the front of the card features an image of Queen taken during the video shoot for Radio Ga Ga.
- This was also the image that was originally going to be used on the seven inch single sleeve, however, it was withdrawn.
- A number of these proofs, signed by Freddie Mercury in Germany in the mid 1980s, were sent back to London where they were intended to be made into Christmas cards; this project never materialized and the proofs remained in Freddie’s home, Garden Lodge, for over 35 years.
