Collection of vintage invites, photographs and ephemera relating to Area nightclub in New York.

  • Sold as a set of over 100 pieces.
  • Includes 91 nightclub invitations, 3 original darkroom photographs, 4 complimentary drink tickets and 2 admission tickets.
  • Photographs include 2 signed original silver gelatin prints taken by Fernando Natalici.
  • Accompanied by a copy of the 2013 publication, "Area: 1983-1987," written by Eric Goode and Jennifer Goode and published by Harry N. Abrams, which has been signed by Fernando Natalici.


Opened in 1983 at 157 Hudson Street, Area quickly became an icon of the downtown clubbing scene in New York. It drew A-list guests and performers including Andy Warhol, Francesco Clemente, Jean Michel Basquiat, Julian Schnabel, Madonna, JFK Jr. & many others.
