- This copy has a letter on the front free end paper written by Frank Robinson in August of 1944 to early science fiction fan William Liebscher.
- Spine is black with no lettering, bound in original fabrikoid, stamped with gold titling to front panel.
The letter was written by Frank Robinson, who would later become a well-known science fiction writer, pulp collector and one of the first openly gay members of the science fiction fandom. Some of Robinson's numerous works were made into movies and a TV series and Robinson worked in the office of Harvey Milk in San Francisco.

Minor dents to head and tail of spine.
Bottom right corner of front cover and bottom left corner of rear cover, slightly bent.
Text block edges stained red with the top and side edges slightly faded as compared to the deep red bottom edge.
