Description

A first edition, first printing of Destinations Unknown, signed and inscribed to Christie's nephew.

  • Agatha Christie (English).
  • London: Collins, 1954.
  • Inscribed on the front free endpaper - 'James/with love from/Agatha/Nov. 54.'
  • In an unclipped wrapper.

The book, initially sold in 2006 at the Greenway sale was Christie's personal book, signed to her nephew James Watt. The contemporaneous inscription is rare and the use of the first name only shows the intimacy with the inscribee.
