Description
A first edition, deluxe issue of The House At Pooh Corner.
Rare first edition, deluxe gilt-leather issue, of the second book of short stories about Christopher Robin's forest friends, including the Hundred Acre Wood's newest resident, Tigger.
In this collection, we learn that the "house" of the title is Eeyore's, which is (re)built by Piglet and Pooh; that Tigger does not like honey; and that while young Christopher Robin must go off to boarding school, the enchanted place of Pooh and his friends will always be waiting for him. The last of the four books in the Pooh series, this deluxe edition was issued in a beautiful leather binding and on higher quality paper.
