Designed by Frankenthaler's husband, the great abstract expressionist, Robert Motherwell. This copy inscribed to the art historian and curator Charles Moffett: "For Charles and Jane, Congratulations! Happy days, Fond thoughts, Sincerely, Helen Frankenthaler, Sept '79" with a scrap of kraft paper with Frankenthaler's return address tipped in to the front free endpaper in her hand.
