Description

Early-20th century Chinese export large tea tray by silversmiths Luen Hing.

  • Bamboo-shaped handles and corner plaques chased with matted ground.
  • Mounted on a large rosewood serving tray, of rectangular form, the surface is inlaid with silver depicting a river with river boats and a pagoda, the top left with Chinese characters.
  • Hallmarked with Chinese export silver marks 90 (900+ standard purity).
  • Retailer WK (unknown).
