American sterling silver water pitcher.

  • Ovoid with baluster bowl on domed foot.
  • Helmet mouth and high-looping leaf-capped double-scroll handle.
  • Chased fluid ornament with leafing scrollwork and tendrils.
  • Rim interior has leafing scrolls, turn-of-the-century sumptuousness with nice heft.
  • Fully marked including Shreve, Crump & Low stamp, no. 1835 and volume (5 pts).
