Description

Berlin pan-form condiment boxes with covers and silver-gilt mounts.

  • Sold as a set of 6.
  • Painted with small bouquets of flowers, small sprigs, and scattered insects.
  • The covers with leafy-vined flower bud finials, and gilt-edged basket-molded borders at the rims.
  • Marked with the Berlin sceptre mark in blue under glaze.
  • Various impressed marks and numerals.
  • Later silver-gilt French mounts circa 1900, stamped A Risler & Carré.
  • These are final sale and not eligible for return.
