Description

  • This work is presented unframed.


This original lithograph in colors is hand signed by the artist in pencil "Sam Francis" at the lower right of center. It is also hand inscribed “pour M. Matthieu” [For Mister Matthieu], at the lower left of center. It is a printer’s proof dedicated to the printer Emil Matthieu aside from the standard edition of 18.


It was printed by Emil Matthieu at Emil Matthieu Atelier, Zurich and published by Kornfeld and Klipstein, Bern in 1960.


This subject is recorded in the Sam Francis Archive with the identification number SF-14.
