Description

This was the first series of etchings undertaken by Auerbach with the inspiration for the sitters coming from his friends and family. The series consists of portraits of Julia Auerbach, Gerda Boehm, Lucian Freud, Leon Kossof, Joe Tilson and R.B. Kitaj.
