Description
In early 2024, Jordan Brand unveiled the Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘First Class’ PE, reserved exclusively for WNBA athletes.
The pair featured a monochrome upper with gold accents on the heel and tongue, complemented by a pebbled leather overlay around the toe box and heel tab. The gold Jumpman logo on the tongue was adorned with a crystal stud, while additional gold details included a hangtag and aglets.
In early 2025, Jordan Brand introduced the Air Jordan 4 College PEs, following a similar design ethos as the ‘First Class’ PE. Among the schools selected was Howard University, which received this exclusive iteration.
Dressed in a predominantly Monsoon Blue upper, the Air Jordan 4 Retro Howard PE features pebbled leather accents on the toe box and heel panel. The tongue and heel showcase gold Jumpman logos, with notable details including the crystal stud on the tongue Jumpman, a gold-etched Howard hangtag, and matching Howard dubraes. The interior tongue tags feature “HU YOU KNOW” on both shoes, a nod to the university’s celebrated spirit. The pair is finished with a gray outsole and leather insoles.
Exceptionally rare, this pair was never released to the public.
