Description

The battle of Wagram took place in July 1809 and was Napoleon's last great military victory. 

  • Patinated bronze sculpture titled Veille de Wagram.
  • Sculpture depicts Napoleon seated in a ladder back chair beside a globe which is surmounted by the imperial eagle.
  • Globe acts as the clock with Roman numerals.
  • Presented on a later ormolu mounted green marble base.
