The canvas is wax lined.
The paint surface is stable and under a fairly clear varnish.
Faint craquelure throughout the sky, particularly in upper right quadrant, but does not distract from overall image which reads well. No visible retouching to the naked eye.
Under UV light, a small spot of inpainting is visible in the sky above the leftmost building and in lower left corner below basket.
